Test Chamber (Big Board Method)
1. Scope of Application
The test method for testing the flame-retardant properties of
finishes coated on flammable substrates under specified conditions
is also applicable to the determination of the flame-retardant time
of finishes coatings.
2. Standards
GB/T12441-2005 (Appendix A).
3. Main parameters
A) Test station: 1 stations.
B) Temperature uniformity: ± 2.5℃
C) Sample size: L900 * W900 thickness of 5 mm, smooth surface.
D) Temperature control system: digital display temperature control
table, which can record multiple sets of data at the same time.
E) Thermocouple: the outer diameter is not greater than 3 mm, the
wire diameter is 0.5 mm, the accuracy is not less than the second
level, and the range is 1300 ℃.
F) The error of the timer is not greater than 1 s/h.
G) Automatic alarm: the five sides of the back surface of the
sample are thermometric, and the temperature is 220 ℃.
H) Gas source: liquefied petroleum gas or natural gas. (customer
provided)
I) The blower air volume (1 ~ 5) m3/min can be adjusted.
J) Power requirements: AC 220 (± 10%) V / 50HZ
4. Equipment Structure
The structure of the instrument consists of four parts: main
control box, blower, combustion bracket and combustion blower. The
control box is movable.
5. Components and Materials
A) Chassis size: L820 * W820 * H1500 MM
B) The frame material is made of high quality 304 stainless steel
square pass welding, the control box material is (t = 1.2mm)
electrostatic steel plate, the surface is sprayed plastic
treatment, more bright and clean, beautiful.
C) Torch: SUS304 material, made by our company.
6. Control System
A) The control box adopts a relay control system, and all
electronic components adopt leading domestic brands, which can
better guarantee the working performance and detection accuracy of
the machine.
B) Temperature using imported intelligent P.I.D temperature
controller (with automatic calculating function) and high precision
PT100 thermocouple sensor and timer.
C) The equipment has the following safety protection devices: power
overload, short circuit protection, control circuit overload
protection, ultra-high temperature protection.
