1. Overview
Building Material Flammability Performance Tester is suitable for
detecting the ignition performance of fire surface when the
material or composite material with thickness less than 70mm is
placed horizontally under the specified radiation conditions. Its
design and manufacture meet the requirements of GB/T14523-93 "Test
Method for Fire Performance of Building Materials" and ISO5657-1986
"Combustion Test - Fire Response - Fire Resistance of Building
Products".
2. Technical parameters
(1) Composition: Radiation cone, ignition device, nozzle, platen
mechanism and support frame, temperature recorder, gas system,
timer, oven, radiation measuring instrument.
(2) Support frame: composed of chassis, guards and pillars
(3) The platen mechanism: there are pressure plate, guide rod,
adjustment rod and balance rod and other components.
(4) Radiation cone: heating power 3KW, radiation intensity:
1~5W/cm2
(5) Fire-fighting mechanism: consists of a pilot arm, a secondary
ignition source and a cam.
3. Principle of testing
The sample is mounted horizontally, and a constant irradiance is
selected to act on the fire surface of the sample in the range of
10 kw/m2 to 70 kw/m2. At a predetermined time interval, the
volatile gas released from the sample was ignited with a pilot
flame 10 mm above the center of each sample, and the duration time
of ignition of the sample surface was recorded.

equipment are tested well and runs well by testing our customer's
sample before shipment. Please contact us if the equipment doesn't
work well after being shipped to your company. We will guide you
how to fix it. The spare parts or components will be sent if
necessary. The charges will be occurred if it is caused by
customer's misoperation.
